Rachel is the chief educator and custodian of the church building and the museum’s artifacts. She leads the team of museum interpreters and public historians. She holds a BA in History from Christopher Newport University.
Outreach Coordinator & Museum Interpreter
John is a passionate and well-versed public historian on many social, justice, religious, and early-Virginia historical topics. He serves as both an on-site museum interpreter and coordinates the museum’s outreach program offering a wide variety of lecture topics. He also leads his own Lutheran Parish in Newport News, Virginia.
