Donor Advised Fund
Simply put, donor advised funds (DAF) are investment funds dedicated solely to charitable giving. When you set up a DAF, you immediately receive the tax benefits from all the funds you put in to establish the fund. DAFs can be established with established financial advisory firms, community foundations, or other sponsoring institutions.
Once you have established your DAF, you are able to direct the distribution of funds to your favorite charities. These can be one-time or recurring gifts. DAFs are a great way to consolidate your charitable giving in one place, making it easier than ever to support the charities of your choice.
