St. Luke’s Historic Church & Museum interprets the early American pursuits of religious freedom and separation of church and state as imbued in the 1st Amendment of U.S. Constitution. SLHC&M stewards and exhibits the church building, local artifacts, and stories that are important in explaining the Site’s place in U.S. history. Museum Interpreters provide world-class experiences for international and domestic audiences at our 43-acre, 17th-century historic site and Virginia’s Oldest Church Building.
We are seeking a highly organized office assistant to assist with daily administrative operations. The office assistant will work closely with other members of the administrative team providing support in a variety of areas. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who possesses excellent organizational and time management skills. The office assistant must also be committed to providing outstanding customer service.
