July Cemetery Preservation Workshop

Partner with us as Historic St. Luke’s works hard to clean each gravestone in the historic section of our cemetery. There are over 600 graves in need of your attention. Join us for this hands-on workshop where volunteers will learn techniques for cleaning historic gravestones based on industry best practices. Devereux Jarratt: Virginia Evangelical Lecture

Join us at Historic St. Luke's for a lecture by Dr. Michael Browder. From the published letters of Devereux Jarratt, we learn about his life and theology. His early conversion by New Light Presbyterians, his Anglican ordination in England, the successes of his parish and his early revival circuit, ambivalent relations with the Methodists, and late-life reflections on Christian Perfection. Light Refreshments will be provided. Tickets are $15 per person.

17th Century Isle of Wight County: A Living History Event

Join us at Historic St. Luke's for a 17th-century living history weekend with a special guest presentation on Historic St. Luke's most revered patron, Joseph Bridger.
