Legacy Giving

Imagine your legacy reaching far beyond this moment — helping to preserve a sacred landmark, protect a graveyard filled with stories, and promote living history that inspires generations to come. By including St. Luke’s in your will, you can ensure that this national treasure continues to preserve, protect, and promote its collections, its architecture, its sacred grounds, and the stories they hold.

A legacy gift doesn’t need to be large to change lives—it can be a modest bequest.. What matters is the intention: ensuring that Historic St. Luke’s remains a place where people discover the roots of religious freedom, engage with national history, and find inspiration in a centuries-old story that’s still living.

Including St. Luke’s in your estate plan is a chance to be part of something that endures, safeguarding for future generations the power of place, of memory, and of hope embodied in the Old Brick Church.

Ancestral Families at St. Luke’s

In 2021, Historic St. Luke’s Restoration and the Bridger Family Association created a permanently restricted fund entitled “The Bridger Family Association Legacy Fund” that is exclusively dedicated to general operations support and future genealogical research. This fund allows descendants of Joseph Bridger, the original patron of the Old Brick Church, to ensure their family legacy continues to live on.

If your family is connected to St. Luke’s Historic Church and Museum and you want to establish a similar fund to ensure your family’s legacy continues at the Old Brick Church, please reach out to our Executive Director John Ericson at jericson@historicstlukes.org to discuss your goals.
